Español: Dispositivo que conecta el ordenador a una línea de la red telefónica básica. Permite el intercambio de datos entre equipos a través de esta red, y por lo tanto, el acceso a internet.

Español: Parte de la memoria de un ordenador en la que se almacenan los archivos que se eliminan, como medida de seguridad para poder recuperarlos en caso de error. Si se vacía la papelera, entonces ya no se pueden recuperar.
